Key Features

The Compact 2 Bar Button is engineered as an extra long pressel that provides clear and immediate floor recognition, making it an ideal main floor button for busy, high traffic buildings. Its extended size offers improved visibility and usability, helping passengers quickly identify the primary floor level. Designed to match our circular ranges including US91, US91‑15 and US95, as well as integrate seamlessly with all other Dewhurst pushbutton families, it provides full flexibility for both new installations and modernisation projects.

Based on the trusted Compact 2 design, this button delivers long life performance, strong vandal resistance and reliable operation in demanding environments. Its 15 mm tactile legend, with an optional Braille feature, supports accessibility requirements while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. A patented hidden recess creates a smooth halo of light between the pressel and surround, illuminating both the legend and halo. This illumination can operate at half intensity, switching to full brightness to indicate position or call acceptance, offering clear and intuitive user feedback.

Constructed with a robust stainless steel front and certified to EN81‑1/2, EN81‑71 (Category 2), EN81‑72, EN81‑73 and IP44, the Compact 2 Bar Button meets essential safety and performance standards for lift environments. With a wide range of pressel legends available and matching accessories including key switches, rocker switches and indicators, it provides a consistent, durable and visually cohesive solution for modern lift interiors.
